Welcome to Brick Borrow.
We’re here to make building with LEGO® as fun, easy, and accessible as possible. By subscribing to a Brick Borrow plan, you're agreeing to the terms and conditions below, which are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Delivery
We use local third-party couriers for all deliveries. Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of being placed. While we always aim to meet this timeframe, dispatch and delivery times may vary during busy periods or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email advising as such. Delivery typically takes 1-2 working days from dispatch.
Hygiene
Hygiene is a top priority at Brick Borrow. Every LEGO® set is carefully checked for cleanliness before being sent out. Isopropyl alcohol wipes and/or spray are used where necessary and/or soap and warm water.
Care
You're going to have so much fun building, playing, and displaying your LEGO® set. And when you're ready for your next one, someone else will be just as excited to receive the set you've borrowed - so please look after it as if it were your own.
Once you've finished, simply return the set to us in the same condition you received it.
Returns
Brick Borrow LEGO® boxes will contain a red leaflet which explains how to return your set for someone else to use. Following these instructions will speed up our checking process and help us get your next set on its way. We don’t want to keep you waiting!
Here’s the return process:

Please dismantle your borrowed LEGO® set back into individual pieces before returning.

Place all LEGO® pieces and LEGO® minifigures in separate bags, along with the instructions, then pack everything back into the original Brick Borrow box. Larger pieces like baseplates can be placed directly into the box. Handle with care to avoid missing piece.

Help us stay sustainable by reusing the original Brick Borrow box and parcel bag (if included). Simply place the Brick Borrow box inside the parcel bag and seal it securely with tape. Please arrange collection by emailing us at hi@brickborrow.ae. kindly note that all shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Come and visit us at our Brick Borrow HQ in DIP as we do love to see our Brick Borrow Family. You can return the LEGO® set to save shipping fees and please reuse the red Brick Borrow bag.
Shipping
At Brick Borrow, we aim to keep our shipping costs as fair and transparent as possible. We charge a flat delivery fee of AED15, which covers the outbound shipping, regardless of the number or size of sets in your order. If you contact us to arrange for return shipping, we will issue an invoice for a further AED15 for the return cost if you do not wish to/cannot visit us instore.
The outbound fee is applied at checkout to make the process as seamless as possible, and for the return a separate invoice would be issued after receipt of the email that you wish for collection, as we offer the option for either picking up or dropping at our store in DIP. We do not profit from shipping charges - in fact, we cover part of the cost ourselves in all cases and considerably more so for bigger sets, multiple sets or of course regional deliveries—we believe this approach offers excellent value, especially considering the average set value exceeds AED250.

Accurate Address
Please ensure that your delivery address is entered correctly when placing your subscription order. Brick Borrow cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from incorrect address details provided at the time of subscription.
If a LEGO® set is lost or damaged due to an address error on your part, you will be liable for the full recommended retail price (RRP) of the set dispatched.
WhatsApp Use For Deliveries
WhatsApp is used by most Courier firms and drivers to contact the customer to confirm and share location information and reconfirm address specifics. If you are expecting a Brick Borrow delivery, please ensure the phone number registered in your account is also your active WhatsApp number and available for response to courier queries to ensure a seamless delivery process.
Subscription Information
You’re welcome to keep your LEGO® set(s) for as long as you like; however, the number of sets you can borrow at any one time depends on your chosen subscription plan.
Please note that your monthly subscription will continue to renew regardless of how long you keep a set. The total number of sets you can build each month is also determined by the subscription package you’ve selected.
Cancelling Your Subscription
We’ll be sorry to see you go, but if you decide to cancel your Brick Borrow subscription, please note the following:
To cancel your plan, all borrowed LEGO® set(s) must be returned to Brick Borrow and successfully checked by our team. Once we’ve processed your return, you can request cancellation by emailing hi@brickborrow.ae and a member of our friendly team will assist you.
If a subscription is cancelled and set(s) are not returned within the stated timeframe, we reserve the right to charge you the full recommended retail price of the unreturned set(s).
Please note: Once a subscription has been used to borrow any LEGO® set(s), no refunds will be issued. This policy ensures fairness for all users, as the service has been provided and the sets are in circulation. We encourage all customers to carefully review their plan before committing, as we are unable to reverse transactions once borrowing has commenced.
For cancelled memberships, refunds will be processed minus non-refundable payment processing fees charged by our provider.
If you wish to take a break without losing access to borrowing our largest sets, we offer a three-month pause option. During this pause, your subscription is temporarily suspended, but your borrowing privileges remain intact—unlike cancelling and restarting your subscription, which may affect your access to certain plans.
Please note that if a set is returned without being fully dismantled, an AED20 administration fee will be applied upon cancellation where a balance is outstanding.
Brick Borrow also reserves the right to cancel subscriptions at any time at our discretion.
Annual Plan Renewals
Annual subscriptions automatically renew 365 days after the start date to ensure uninterrupted access to the service, including when sets are still on loan.
If all borrowed sets have been returned and you wish to cancel before your renewal date, please contact us at hi@brickborrow.ae and we’ll process your cancellation promptly.
Cancellation requests cannot be processed while a set is still on loan. If a cancellation is submitted before all sets are returned, the subscription will continue to renew. Once all sets have been returned, you’ll need to resubmit your cancellation request or contact our team for assistance.
If your subscription renews while you still have a set on loan and you wish to cancel, you may return the set within 30 days of the renewal date. In this case, we will issue a pro-rata refund based on the monthly subscription rate, not the annual plan rate.
If both the cancellation and return are not completed within this 30-day window, no refund will be issued.
This refund policy applies only to annual subscription plans.
Missing Pieces
We do all we can to ensure every LEGO® set is 100% complete before it leaves our care. However, due to the nature of our service, occasionally small pieces may go missing.
If you notice any missing pieces during, you’re borrow period, please report them to us as soon as possible by emailing hi@brickborrow.ae. We’re always happy to send missing pieces directly to you, so it’s always worth letting us know.
If a set is returned with missing pieces that have not been reported, and the missing pieces meet our threshold (multiple pieces, pieces weighing 10 grams or more, rare pieces, or minifigures), you will be charged the cost price for replacements plus an administration fee of AED20.
Replacement parts are often sourced via a third-party piece provider or sent from our library of spare pieces.
Please note, borrowing privileges will be suspended until any outstanding charges for missing pieces are settled.
'Hero/Legend Sets' Apprenticeship
If you’re new to Brick Borrow and have subscribed to a monthly Builder or Master plan, you must complete a three-month apprenticeship before unlocking access to our high value ‘Hero’ & ‘Legend’ LEGO® sets. During this period, you’ll need to demonstrate responsible borrowing behaviour.
Don’t worry—during these first three months, you’ll still have access to sets valued well above your monthly subscription cost including two simultaneous sets as per the Master plan inclusions. Completing your apprenticeship helps us ensure you can be trusted with our most valuable sets.
This policy is necessary to protect against theft and loss of high-value sets in the initial subscription period, and ensures we can make Brick Borrow more accessible, by not demanding a security deposit.
Immediate Access with Annual Plans
If you purchase an annual Builder or Master plan, you can access any available Hero Set or Legend set(s) immediately per the plan inclusions, without completing the three-month apprenticeship or facing borrowing restrictions.
Upgrading Your Subscription

Please note that with the Master subscription, you are eligible to borrow two sets at a time. When selecting your sets, you can choose two available sets from our library. These will be boxed and sent together, and they should be returned to us in the same way.
Order Amendments & Cancellations
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be amended or cancelled. Our warehouse team begin processing orders immediately to ensure fast dispatch, and orders are often picked, packed and prepared for courier or shop collection shortly after being submitted. As a result, we are unable to make changes to sets, delivery details or subscription selections once an order has been confirmed. Members should therefore ensure all details are correct before completing checkout.
Apprentice Set Subscription - Set Frequency
By subscribing to the Mystery Set plan at AED69 per month, you agree to the following terms. You may place an order for one set box per payment cycle. Once your order is placed, your set will be shipped to you.
You can borrow only one set per payment cycle. If you return your set before the start of your next payment cycle, you need to wait until the following cycle to be eligible to borrow another set.
You are free to keep your borrowed set for as long as you wish. However, borrowing a set for multiple months does not entitle you to borrow additional sets beyond one per payment cycle.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us, and we will never share your personal information or data with third parties. When you subscribe to Brick Borrow, your personal details are protected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
WhatsApp Policy
We may contact you by WhatsApp regarding important updates to your Brick Borrow account, including payment reminders if your account goes into arrears. WhatsApp will only be utilised whereby email response is not forthcoming, or by response to direct communication initiated by the customer.
The courier company may also contact you via WhatsApp as per the ‘WhatsApp Use For Deliveries’ policy.
Non-Payment Policy & Replacement Charges
In the event that a member fails to return a borrowed LEGO® set, the Company reserves the right to charge the member the full recommended retail price (RRP) of the item. This charge will be applied if the LEGO® set has not been returned within 15 days of the member’s account entering arrears. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the member authorises the Company to use the payment card details provided at the time of registration, or any subsequently updated payment information, to recover the cost of the unreturned set. This charge will be processed automatically, without further notice, following the 15-day period.
Once the payment has been successfully processed, the member’s account will be closed, and they will no longer be required to return the LEGO® set in question. Members are encouraged to contact the Company in advance if they are experiencing difficulties with returning a set, to explore possible alternative arrangements.
By entering into a Brick Borrow subscription, you agree that we may contact you regarding your account using the contact details you have provided. This may include communication via phone, SMS, and WhatsApp messaging services.
These communications may relate to, but are not limited to:

account status
-
returns and overdue items
-
payment and billing matters
We will always aim to contact you in a reasonable and appropriate manner.
Liability
By subscribing to a Brick Borrow plan, you agree that we are not liable for any harm, damage, or loss arising from the purchase, use, or handling of any goods, services, resources, content, or transactions related to the products supplied through your subscription.
Price And Term Changes
We are proud to occasionally offer exclusive LEGO® sets available only through Brick Borrow. These sets may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange in accordance with our Returns Policy.
We commit to providing subscribers with fair notice of any price changes. Any adjustments to pricing will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, allowing you the opportunity to cancel or modify your subscription if you wish.
Please note, we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any set, service, or content—wholly or in part—without prior notice. Additionally, we may update these Terms and Conditions as necessary, with any changes posted here.
Authenticity
You’ll always receive authentic LEGO® products with your Brick Borrow subscription. If you ever find any non-LEGO pieces in your set, please notify us immediately at hi@brickborrow.ae
